Sasha is a genetic counsellor and PhD student at the Wellcome Connecting Science, Wellcome Sanger Institute and The University of Cambridge. In the last 10 years she has specialised in clinical cardiac, prenatal and cancer genetics in the UK and for a short time in South Africa. She has a background in science communication and public engagement to ensure clinical care in genomics meets the needs of all. She’ll be joining us to highlight how she got to where she is today, and what her job looks like.
